Indonesians like their brew with all grit at the bottom. Kopi Tubruk. Nice coffee but all that sandy sediment really puts me off

I picked up a coffee plunger from Foodmart in CITOS the other day. Only Rp19.500 when you buy a bag of coffee for Rp.30.000. Also if you don't fancy a trip to Kem Chiks Kemang try their new one in One pacific place (just near Jakarta stock exchange)

i made my way down to one pacific plaza this morning. my first time there. just next to Mabes Polri, or the BEJ (JSX). in the basement is Kemchicks supermarket.

not a bad place, though a tad overpriced.

after a fruitless search for coffee filter papers, i finally gave up and asked for assistance, expecting a bengong stare. "kertas saring kopi? apa itu, pak?". but no! helpful, smiling kemchick gal took me to the right place.

while there, i also picked up a Braun coffee-making machine to go with the filter paper. oh, and some coffee. oh, and some milk.

all in all, a successful mission. am at this moment drinking my first cup of home-made filtered coffee.

Filtered coffee is very passe and certainly not environmentally friendly, at best lukewarm piss - at the very least one should elect to use a filter press, but I would expect a bule of some standing to be using an expresso machine.

my standard order at starbucks is a double expresso, but for work i prefer a standard white coffee. filter press is messy, and doesn't keep the coffee warm.

one of my principal motivations in getting this machine is to get my office employees addicted to caffeine so that they will become more productive.

Well it won't work for productivity, they will just end up being hyperactive while asleep.

The filter press must be scalded before use , taking particular care to warm the little stainless bit too.

White coffee cannot be condoned in a modern progressive society, unless soya milk is employed.

no it won't! modern western economies were built by people whose thoughts were focussed by the consumption of large quantities of caffeine!

And where exactly does this scalding hot water come from?

Why limit it to bovines?

Erotic lactation
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search
Erotic lactation is the breastfeeding of an adult partner primarily for erotic reasons. Depending on the context, other terms can refer to the practice, including "adult suckling", "adult nursing", "adult breastfeeding". Person involved in the practice are said to in an adult nursing relationship (ANR). Two persons in an exclusive relationship can also be called a "nursing couple" (though this term is also sometimes used for a mother and her child).

"Milk fetishism" and "lactophilia" are medical, diagnostic terms for paraphilias, and are used for disorders according to the precise criteria of ICD-10 and DSM-IV. These terms are not used in this article.[1]

hey, what does lactophilia have to do with coffee filters?!

anyway, all i can say is "ick"; does nothing for me! i find human lactation rather annoying; my chest always smells like yogurt. though, thinking about it, i could make a good little business if i dusted off the old goat milking machine and hooked it up to the wives. bottled human milk is in high demand in the West!

Dude, you are missing the point. Not only is the entire experiece sexually gratifying but you get a 'natural' high off off the nutrient, antibody etc kick in the milk. Particularly if you are 30 years old and the milk machine is your mother.

In an emergency sanitary pads may also be employed to good effect.

oh, and some coffee. oh

Kuku, which coffee did you buy? I have tried lots of different brands and types as I like mine strong and the best I have found so far is the Merderka Jave Estate coffee. (unground beans only)

A lot more expensive than your average Carrefour crap but worth it for a good freshly ground cup of coffee!!!

I buy it from the Periplus Coffee shop on JL Kemang Selatan 1.

www.merdeka.com

Costs about $4.50 per 250gr. You can also get it ready ground if you want. It is roasted only a few days before you buy it if you order from the website.

In fact, if you want to try a few types that they do, I think you can drink them in the coffee shop itself.
