What is the word for when someone says something to someone- for example - bubur ( can be anything) and that person who the word was said to goes on and on about that word ,but kind of goes off on tangents and then sometimes will have sort of cheeky or vulgur talk about it too?
Its somethimg like latatte? begins with l anyway I think.

Latah

1. when someone follows a trend (sometimes without even knowing/understanding what it's all about). Ie: a person starts a trend with a new cool term, and the rest jump to follows..

2. when you shock someone, and that person subconsciously repeated what you said in her/his shocked state. Ie: something fell on the ground, and you shouted ' EH COPOT!" <-- latah.. and if there's an old woman who happened to walk past & got shocked by your shouting, and she herself shouted "EH COPOT COPOT!" <-- that's also latah (hence a person who follows what the other's saying without thinking).. hehe

copot means to remove or detach something, sometimes forcibly.

it can also mean to sack, or fire, someone.
