I think this is good news for Scots, the Welsh and Kiwis. Hopefully now, some of the stigma associated with what we consider a natural act will be removed. Three cheers for Dilli injecting himself into Dolly!

Pasted:

Scientists have created the world's first human-sheep chimera - which has the body of a sheep and half-human organs.

The sheep have 15 per cent human cells and 85 per cent animal cells - and their evolution brings the prospect of animal organs being transplanted into humans one step closer.

Professor Esmail Zanjani, of the University of Nevada, has spent seven years and 5million perfecting the technique, which involves injecting adult human cells into a sheep's foetus.

Would trafficking in human organs decrease in the near future?

hmmm --- I think that is one of the things they are trying to do here! Imagine how many lives can be saved if this is perfected. Heart attack? .. just replace from the sheep! lung riddled with cancer? .. take it out and replace it!!

Its that what they tried to do? Science should provide any other options than this freaky way. Human organs inside sheep sound kind a sick tho.... I think those scientist are bunch of freakin weirdos, can't they just try to do the experiment without using poor animal or human embrios.

PS: for Dilli, i think the 'wow' means the pictures are freakin awsome, and you rock rockon

we have abortions, we eat sheep .... I really don't see what is so strange about trying to find ways to harvest human organs to save lives. I know if my loved ones were sick I wouldn't care if the organ that would save their life came from a sheep, pig or camel ....

If you looked at all the drugs and beauty products people use in everyday life Emma you would be amazed at how many of them have been tested on animals. In fact even the medicine you take has to be tested on other humans before you.

I think most of the medicines that have been rejected were the ones that were tested on you Chewwy!
