Yuo know Abie - I have a strict policy. Internet is cyber world, reality is reality. This is why I never meet people from JakChat. Once you meet, relationships and opinions change. Some sites I frequent, you never know what the person looks like, or even of they are male or female. That allows you to have fun without worying what they will think about the real person. But if you make a comment about your private life or sexual preferences on the internet, and then meet the chat members in a bar, they all remember all of your posts and treat you acordingly.

abie, cyberfriend IS a friend .. so yes of course
(that is you don't need to be physically available to be a 'good' friend)

Agreed, but this can also be positive! You just got to choose who you meet!

I wondered why people stay so far away from me! We would be the two strong silent types at the top end of the bar. Or at the dark side of the club.....

I lost my underpants too, but I try to forget the occasion.
They play by "club rules" which are:
Rule 1: All Bule lose
Rule 2: all bule lose
Rule 3: all bule lose
rule 4: etc etc etc

To me, internet offers a "kind" of friendship. It is true like PB said, that if you meet people in the real life, it can change your perception of them. It happenned with JC members. In both good and bad ways. Exemples? Alright: Dilli is the same, virtual or real life, except I can't understand a fuck of what he's saying with his Scottish accent, Kuku have the same smart "répartie", except he speak at such a low volume, I can't understand a fuck of what he's saying, Macan Tutul have such smart posts on JC but in real life, she don't speak at all! JJG is the same, like a golden retriever chasing butterflies, Shesca... smart, sweet but strong in both worlds, And many, many mores like that... I like all of you, guys! ...now your turn! What you think about the real OK? Come on, don't be too polite! Bring it on!!! p.s.: I'd like to meet you PB one day. We're good buddies here but I have the feeling we couldn't stay in the same room for more than 2 minutes!

A one line summation on each character, accurate and fair, but not cruel.

OK - you would be very suprised if you met me in real life.
I am much more humourous and far less serious.

PB, nobody want to meet you Ela - I don’t want to meet people off JC either. Its my virtual fun. It isn’t real. I don’t have to worry about you, I don’t have to care about you. Like Sim City, I turn on my PC and there you are. I turn off and you are gone from my mind. I have a wide range of real friends as well. I drink with them, I climb with them, I sail with them, and I serve in the army with them, and I work with them. Tonight I am going to the movies with Kim, who is just divorced and owns a drink company. He is a superb Latin American dancer (he lived in Paraguay for many years). After the movies we will eat in Chinatown, maybe catch a few bears in the Star hotel where we will flirt outrageously with the Chinese barmaids.

So in real life you're gay?
