Christianity is as restrictive as Islam!!!!

Although ‘we” hardly notice it, Christianity is as restrictive in our lives as Islam is in other countries.

Perth shops are about be allowed to sell alcohol on Sundays. The only reason this law existed was because of the power of the Church.

Shops in Sydney have only been allowed to open on Sundays in the last 10 years. All alcohol shops will be closed by law on Christmas day!!!

Meanwhile, the staunchly Catholic minister for Health recently had to be forced to allow abortion pills to be allowed into Australia. In response he has made it so hard for doctors to prescribe it, only one doctor has done so.

The Australian Catholic Church has tried to ban abortion, and is currently lobbying to ban stem cell research.

In the USA schools are now FORCED to teach “Intelligent Design” bunkum.

ALL religions, ALL of them, should fuck off out of the legal system and leave everyone alone……

Perth bottle shops open on Sunday
December 17, 2006
A CHANGE in the law means some Perth bottle shops today opened their doors on a Sunday for the first time.

Until today, liquor shops - unless they were attached to hotels - could not trade on Sundays.

Under reforms to Western Australia's liquor laws, all metropolitan bottle shops will now be permitted to trade between 10am and 10pm on Sundays.

Premier Alan Carpenter today said the reforms heralded a new era for WA.

"This brings liquor stores into line with hotel bottle shops which, until now, have had a monopoly on Sunday trade," Mr Carpenter said.

"The new legislation, the remainder of which will be implemented in stages over the coming months, is a victory for commonsense."

The reforms, passed by parliament earlier this year, would also permit restaurants to serve liquor without a meal.

"These changes will greatly stimulate small business, tourism and entrepreneurialism in our state," Mr Carpenter said.

Abortion pill ban attacked

Doctors have urged the Federal Government to lift the ban on the abortion pill RU-486.

The drug, also known as Mifepristone, is available in countries including France, Britain, New Zealand and the United States, but has been banned in Australia since 1996.

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists will publish a policy statement on safe pregnancy termination later this year urging the Government to review the drug's availability.

The president of the college, Ken Clark, said it would welcome a review and the possibility of the drug being available in Australia for legitimate medical use.

"One of its uses is in early termination of pregnancy, and there is evidence that it's sometimes a better and safer option for women than surgical termination," Dr Clark said.

Mifepristone was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration in 2000 for the termination of early-stage pregnancy and has also been linked to treating some types of cancer.

The Government in effect banned RU-486 at the behest of the Tasmanian independent senator Brian Harradine. Since then, those wanting to get the drug must apply to the federal health minister.

A spokeswoman for the Health Minister, Tony Abbott, said the Government had no plans to change the legislation.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration has received about four applications for the drug since the ban, all for brain tumour patients, and their applications have been successful.

The Democrats leader, Lyn Allison, said the drug could replace half of surgical abortions. Right to Life spokeswoman Margaret Tighe said such an idea should be rejected or explicitly amended to ensure it didn't apply to the concept of abortion on demand.

there is a case to be made that religion should be considered a crime against humanity.

Please explain?

Communism is defined as:

"an ideology that seeks to establish a classless, stateless social organization, based upon common ownership of the means of production"....

I was talking about religious dogma.....

it's not me who has to explain, but rather the indonesian establishment! in particular, the military/Orde Baru folks.

this is how it works: if you are an atheist, you are a communist. if you don't acknowledge an officially recognised religion, you are a communist. if you *talk* about marxism, you are a communist. if you think that indonesia would be better off as a federation, rather than a "unitary republic", then you are a communist. and so on and so forth.

welcome to indonesia wink

They want to consider themselves lucky I wasnt in charge, because I would have stood them all against the nearest wall and shot them.

I don’t know.... I don’t know the laws on book ownership...

(Personally I would treat such books with the same fanaticism we treat child pornography. People could be arrested for having anything that may or may not be Marxist on their PC….. Marxism has fucked up more lives than Child pornography has…)

However, if you were stupid enough to take the book to a political meeting, knowing that such meetings were illegal, you should expect to get raided.

What Kuku just mentioned above was totally correct. That's the way Indonesians view communism. Totally wrong conception, but its almost like suicide bomber to be the first word that come to mind of most westerners (especially those that closed minded) when they hear the word "moslem".

Both of you are not listening to me.

The had a fucking MARXIST BOOK hanging out there arse.....

And knowing comunists as I do, i wouldnt trust anyone who wanted to change anything. About 10 years ago most of the communist movement suddenly called themselves 'Green'

They are still fucking communists. They still espouse communist philosophies......
