Kofi Annan today bitterly criticised the Iraq war, saying Iraqis suffered greater fear than under Saddam Hussein. The United Nations Secretary General said the level of violence was "much worse than in civil wars that were fought in Lebanon and other places. Asked in a BBC interview if Iraqis were worse off, he replied: "I think they are ... in the sense of the average Iraqi's life."

Errrrrrrrrrrr

Lets just look at the numbers shall we:

Iraq under US control – 55,697 dead civilians since the invasion.
http://www.iraqbodycount.org/database/

Rwandan Civil war (UN Control) = 800,000 dead civilians
Darfur (UN Control) = 200,000+ (and climbing) dead civilians
Cambodia Pol Pot (UN did fuck all) = 2.1 MILLION dead civilians

You really would think the UN would keep its mouth shut wouldn’t you.

(all deaths are just numbers, until its you own...)
