Schapelle Corby to publish autobiography

) - Schapelle Corby, a 28-year-old Australian woman who is serving a prison sentence in Denpasar for a drug offence, has been writing an autobiograpy that will be published soon, her lawyer said here Friday.
"Her book in English about her life in Australia until her bitter experience of life in a Denpasar prison is expected to be launched in the near future," Corby`s lawyer, Haposan Sihombing SH, said.
Haposan said Corby`s creativity to write her autobiography during her rehabilitation process in the penitentiary was something normal and there was no restriction on it in Indonesian law.
He said he still did not know the further details of Corby`s book such as its design, lay-out and number of pages to make it fit for circulation in the market.
Asked if Corby had already obtained permision from the relevant authority in Indonesia to publish her book, Haposan said one`s creativity to write a book during a rehabilitation process in prison was not prohibited.
"Corby has the same right as the Bali bombing convicts who also published a book," Haposan said.
He said that in her book Corby also describes her frequent disagreements with the "Bali Nine" group of drug convicts, especially with Lenae Lawrance.
"Corby`s quarrels with the nine other Australian convicts in Denpasar prison often made front-page news in Australia," Haposan said. (*)
