With sufficient electrics, progress of a nation will be totally able to be reached better, said President when he evaluated Electrics Generator of Steam Power/ PLTU Paiton, in Probolinggo, on Monday (9/10) noon. President SBY told that PLTU Paiton has a national production capacity of 3.200 mega-watt of 25.000 mega-watt output total.

"If something bad happened in Paiton, we may conceive the impacts to Java and Bali," said President. Therefore, President SBY asks the three companies which work along in Paiton to work better and full of responsibility. "Because what you do is very important for many people," President enhanced. The three companies are PT. Pembangkitan Bali Java. PT. Java Power, and PT. Paiton Energy Company.
"Insya Allah within the next three-four years we will build generator of 10.000 mega-watts more so it will be appropriate to the requirement. It is a giant program, but we will continuously carry out the project, because if it is not done it will bother all development interests and needs," said President before about 800 employees of PLTU Paiton.
From the additional 10.000 mega-watt, 6.900 mega-watts will be built in Java-Bali, the rest 3.100 will be built out of Java. Thereby will be a balance between the supply and demand. "For 220 million of Indonesia people, there are two very important matters namely food and energy problems. To overcome the problems I ask the leaders of East Java to charge the duty so that we can reach the program of food and energy resilience as well as possible," President affirmed.
