Just Placing it out there
Similar to the phrase "just putting that out there", but it is usually said more as suggestion, particularly when the person saying it lacks confidence that his answer or solution is correct.

NUCLEAR: NORTH KOREAN WEAPONS TEST IS 'UNACCEPTABLE' SAYS INDONESIA

Jakarta, 9 Oct. (AKI) - The Indonesia government has joined worldwide condemnation of a North Korean underground nuclear weapon's test early on Monday morning. "The Government of Indonesia reiterates its position that the recent nuclear test conducted by the DPRK (Democratic People's Republic of Korea) is unacceptable under any justifiable reason," Jakarta said in a foreign ministry statement. The test "would only increase a new tension and threatens stability in the Asia-Pacific region," it added.

Indonesia together with China is one of the few nations to have genereally good diplomatic relations with North Korea. The bond dates back to the friendship between independent Indonesia's first president, Sukarno, and North Korea's communist dictator Kim Il Sung, father of the current leader Kim Jong Il.

Earlier this year, Kim Jong Il accepted an invitation to visit Jakarta on a yet unspecified date.

However relations have cooled recently following Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's scrapping of a proposed 17 July visit to the North Korean capital Pyongyang. The Indonesian leader who had twice in the past cancelled trips to North Korea, called off the latest visit following the 5 July test firing by North Koread of seven missiles.

I also am a bit obsessed with their fashion mags.

Kimchi is rotten, fermented cabbage. But not to worry, they put a bit of vinegar and chili on it to "enhance" the flavor and outrageous aroma. You can literally smell a kimchi restaurant 100s of meters away.

I think it better that we clarify the point that most, if not all that bears a "Korean" tag, be it food shops, clothing, fashion etc originates from South Korea.

I dont think the North is in a position to export anything except malevolance, although, it has to be said this is not the fault of the people.
