Have you tried trademe.co.nz? You have the eyes of millions of kiwi's looking for bargains, they will pay the postage from OZ as well. Maybe a quickway of getting rid opf your excess electronics.

No….. I thought of Ebay though.

The 6515 is very clever, GPS, PDA, EDGE, GPRS, quad band phone, contacts, Word, Excel, build in keyboard, touch screen,

Problem it is stolen recovered. (I bought it legitimately). Stolen phoned here are locked for life, and it is almost impossible to get unlocked. So it will not work in Australia. Would work fine in Indonesia though. This s why I was thinking of selling into Indonesia.

The Nokia 9500 is a pile of crap. I will NEVER EVER EVER buy another Nokia. If I ever find myself sitting next to Mr Nokia on an aeroplane I will stick his useless phone up his big fat Finnish ass.

Just 15 months old. The clamshell hinges are worn, so the screen flops open and shut like LuLu’s legs.

It “dies” and needs a full reset about 3 times a week. Nokia say it needs a “Firmware Refresh”. I say Nokia should test its fucking products before release. And the firmware refresh HAS to be done at a Nokia repair centre. Sydney has noe, and its about 100 miles away from me.

(The HP 6515 can be Firmware Refreshed from a desktop computer…….)

As if a floppy screen and endless reboots were not enough…. The bloody synchronisation software DOESN’T .

I had (I still have) a Nokia 9210i – THAT didn’t synchronise either.

AND the Nokia 9110 before that didn’t synchronise. I still have that piece of crap too.

It’s a simple issue – Nokia were so stupid that they use a piece of crap called PC Office Sync. IF YOU WANT TO SYNCHRONISE WITH XO USE ACTIVESYNC.

Guess what – the HP6515 uses Active Sync and it works every time……

Nokia – FUCKING UP LIVES FOR 20 YEARS!

well, that's one way to advertise a phone for sale....haha, hey if you like PB, I can give you sales tips to get rid off you phones/PDA's....
1. Dont call the product you are trying to sell a piece of crap.
2. Pretend that you really like the phone, but you have just bought the latest version.
3. State how you would like to keep the phone, but have to let it go due to moving oversea's

Happy Selling (tee hee!)

I doubt the bloody ting is saleable. It cost $1400 about 15 months ago, and it is a useless desk ornament.

I will never recover my money, however Mr Nokia or one of his brain dead idiot engineers (how they DARE call themselves engineers astounds me) may just possibly read this:

I feel ripped off by Nokia. In fact THREE times you have ripped me off, and each time you have told me all will be fixed in the next model. You are an embarrassment to Engineers all over the world, and especially to the good software engineers I work alongside every day. I will never buy another Nokia, and I will actively dissuade anyone else from buying one.

PB, the Nokia 9500 is going around the NZ $600 mark on trademe.co.nz. A brand new one is retailed at NZ$1199.00. I suggest you chuck out your 9210i communicator. They go for about $90.00 on trademe, not worth the hassle. New Zealand customers obviously have a similar view of the 9210I. Have you seen anyone that has had a N70 or N90 for a while? Curious to know how well they age.

This HP 6515 is pretty good so far. Camera sucks, but I don’t use it. And the GPS is a piece of crap too.

But it handles 2500 contacts no problem, syncs all day long, holds a 2Gb SD card (the 9500 is limited to 1Gb MMC) and a 512 mini SD. Bluetooths to my hands free, AND to an external keyboard, allows offsite email, GPRS email, EDGE, etc and

ITS RELIABLE……

the problem is not you (or anyone else for that matter) but rather the message software. it's hard to remember what forum you are in, and of course messages start veering off topic. hopefully the message software upgrade coming this july will remind people where they are before they post away ...
