G'day! (not so good weather tho) I am very new here in Sydney and need some friends - male or female. Really don't know the area and actually miss Indonesia! Was wondering if any of people here on JakChat from Sydney (city, suburbs, or outskirts) and wanna be my friend? Thanks. P.s I'm Indonesian and female :-)

Haven't had time to get in and around the city - might be completely lost tho. it's hard to say Indo.. everyone's different, some ppl are friendly some are not. But in general yes, i think australians are veeery friendly. You'll find that people will occasionally smile at you as you're walking pass, or greets you when they make eye contact. Not like in indo.. where ppl are more cuex, cant blame them too.. we're raised with the knowledge that, stranger = danger

By law no, by reality, yes of course. no one is going to pick you up for it. Everyone does it, and no one gets caught unlerss it involves other activities that attract attention - eg prostitution.

They try to make it sound bad, but in reality they are pretty lax. There are a lot more importnat things ot worry about than some young girl earning a bit of cash working in a cafe or whatever. i can put you in touch with some of the indo community if you want.

It's so weird that people especially foreigners say that Indo people are friendly. I got lots of more friendly gestures when I lived aboard. Anyway, welcome Indo-female.

Anyway, welcome Indo-female. umm.. i guess because foreigners are like tourist attraction to many ppl in indo? ie: when a kid see badut ancol, it'll give him the funny feeling, he'll want to touch & be friendly, to satisfy his curiousity, .. and maybe the same happened with those foreigners who have visited indo.. .. (just maybe)
