in the absence of a dictionary, what is the meaning of dalliance anyway?! sounds naughty, whatever it is!

hey! i've got a dictionary!

dalliance from the, er, root, "dally", which means: 1. to waste time. 2. to make love playfully. 3. to play carelessly; flirt

how on earth have i lived without this word for so long?!!
