Why are some people introspective and some people over-analyzers?

I love a healthy dose of introspection in anyone.
I think it keeps the checks and balances in place.
I find, as I get older, that I am not as forgiving of those that over analyze to the extreme. I find it difficult to be around them and my tolerence level is such that I tend to quickly take myself away situations that involve people who do this.

Is it simply people's experiences that differentiate the two?
Is it the degree of emotional intelligence they have cultivated?
Am I over analyzing by asking this question???
I guess I am just a curious creature....

"If cognitive intelligence is about thinking
and emotional intelligence is about feeling,
then spiritual intelligence is about being." wink

I am not exactly impressed with the article in question….

Firstly, it espouses the principle that Doctors use “intuition” – for “intuation” read guesswork. Think about it:

Patient: Doc, my head hurts!
Doctor: My intuition says you have a headache
Patient: What about the axe stuck in my head?

Secondly, it quotes as an example a PIECE OF FICTION!!!! Sherlock Holmes was a fictitious detective….. to find him being quoted in a serious discussion of the philosophy of Social Science is pure garbage…
