Study says sexually aroused men suffer loss of sound thinkingWeinheim, Germany (
Antara News) - Sexually aroused men tend to act immorally, accept unattractive partners and place little value on protection, a US study showed.
The men aroused themselves before participating in the study conducted by researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Carnegie Mellon University.
When aroused, they were more open to seducing a woman they invited to an expensive restaurant, to encouraging her to drink or to making a tactful declaration of love, the study published in the July issue of the German edition of the Psychology Today magazine showed.
The men also were less willing to accept a rejection of their advanced, found just kissing to be frustrating and could generally imagine sleeping with a much older woman.
Sexually aroused men also had fewer worries about protecting against pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. They considered condoms an interference and usually wanted to reject them, Psychology Today wrote. This was especially true when the men feared the women would think things over.
The men were also questioned when they were not sexually aroused and then gave "good answers" in contrast. (*)
