when i was abroad to Paris - France for 3 years i miss nasi goreng and sayur asem frown
oh... my favourite food... i was really hungry for you! can you imagine that..?!

i think nasi goreng will match with telur mata sapi and sayur asem will match with sambal, lalap and ikan asin....try to eat nasi padang or soto betawi, its very delicius...hmmmm yam yam yam...

inggrit, can we meet ??? i will buy you sayur asam, sambal lalap and ikan asin in sarinah 's fast food ...

well now iam in Jakarta and i can have my favourite food very easy. ok , so when we meet you will buy me nasi goreng & sayur asam rite?!

Hello i'm newbie ..

Indonesian food huh .. guess nasi goreng & sayur asem u should be able to make it your self, if close to Asian/Middle east supermarket .. may able to find the ingredients even in France wink

The most difficult items to find was .. petis & terasi hahhhaha

I'm hereby announcing my newbie-ness...

Petis & Terasi are normally available in Asian stores...by the name of Shrimp Paste & Belachan respectively.

Mostly they're Malaysian products.

no need tobe confused if you guys can't find petis or terasi... well you can use unwashed shocks as one month though? :-)

bwahahaaha ... blachan itn't so bad ... just imagine if there was no blachan to put in our rojak malacca ... the world would certainly be a poorer place!

what about "Jengkol" and "Pete" ??

do you like to eat that??

do you like the smell?? after you "p" in the toilet the smells like an very expensive parfume from Paris smile

I loooove petai goreng, with sambal terasi and ati goreng!
But here in sydeny we can buy all the ingreadients easy-thank god for cap ibu and even thank god for indo mi!And thank god for Kingsford( little jakarta ) and Ayam Goreng sembilan sembilan restaurant!Except unfortunately their chef was deported back to jakarta via villawood due to alittle no visa mishap.Very sad!Now you can find him at mangga dua.

I don't know...until to day I donk like Jengkol and Pete..really...even my all friends often told me that jengkol and pete is very delecius but I never to get interes to eat that!!!

Aloow semua, ikut nimbrung nich...
My opinion, you all beautiful girls not allowed to eat JENGKOL, PETE, BAWANG or..what's another thing? garlic?? especially "Inggrit" yang suka kiss-kissan gitu!...LOL!
It's not good for your body odor, especially if you like to workout at the gym....eewww..smell YUCK!!
it's not very pretty smell at all for girls...don't you think??
