WangKee Kemang - 12 Mar 07 08:11

Since my missus is a creature of Jaksel and has to be dragged kicking and screaming to North Jakarta, where I am told the better Chinese eateries are, I've been going to this place on and off for a few years now. The Peking Duck in this place is out of this world and very reasonably priced too. Other notable dishes include the whole fried Gurame (sp?). The owner, Johnny, is a friendly chap who will bend over backwards to accommodate your needs and this was shown to be the case when we turned up mob-handed a few years back two nights before my wedding with a party of 20 or so. So don't let visions of onanism deter you from checking this place out.

Onanism, never crossed my mind! You are however right about the duck!

About 1=1/2 years ago the owners decidied to put an advert beside the bridge which crosses the river where Kemang Raya meets Prapanca.

Some wag, obviously western, changed the lst letter "e" to an "r" with spray paint. Stayed up for ages before someone found out and removed it!

I couldn't remember the name of the restaurant. But I believe it was in China Town or nearby? In London, of course.

I eat one time in a place named Bebek Bali. For my taste, the bebek goreng was pretty damn good. And they have an excellent Barton & Guestier Château Neuf Du Pape... yummy.

Problem: don't have a clue where it is! I've been drag there by somebody else... anybody know the address?

Moresby, jeebus, people I know who've been up there on business ended up hiring multiple security guards just to play a round of golf.
