Suzuki Thunder 125cc
Honda Tiger 200cc.

Etc. I'm not looking for a 'moped' or 'motorbebek'
but a real motorcycle. Would anyone know a good place to find? Get paid in 3 weeks so I will be able to afford it then, yay!

Guess i'm going 2nd hand, even though i'd rather not.
Hell if you can find a good price for a Ninja even!

Thanks as usual!

I'm going to sell my Thunder 250cc, year 2003, largest capacity locally made (ie cheap!) bike. If you're interested, PM me.

PC's Thunder would be a good bet Bart. They actually don't make them 250's any more. Nice second hand Thunder 125 would be the best value option. Don't get a Ninja unless you're a confirmed two stroke fanatic - noisy, smelly, loud and the Ninja model they sell here is titchy to sit on, Thunders/Tigers are more hefty.

I was just discussing this tonight with an American and he said this, which I fully agree with.........

If you look closely or watch the other lines people took through that final chicane, Kimi had the racing line and stayed on it. Hamilton put himself in an untenable position, out-braking himself. I think the effort to give Kimi the lead back was a little less than inspired, which is probably what drew the penalty.

Bit of a grey area I think but bottom line is he did yield position back to Kimi before attacking again. He's just a very aggressive young silvery. Let's face it they were all skidding all over the shop on that final lap. Perhaps some slack should have been cut because of the weather. No advantage was gained as Kimi crashed anyway. Bit of a shame to have the race decided that way though after such a thriller.

^^^I agree most are calling it ashamed since it does look like the season is rigged in favor of the Red Machine..........

Well assuming I can come up with enough money to actually get a bike relatively soon.. I might just stick it out with a moped for 3-4 months to save up for a bike.. THEN sell the moped.. But still.
Paid on the 29th.. Would have to get a cash advance. Should just get a new one and pay monthly...
Blah..
Thanks As Usual smile

Ken, I'm selling it because I now live a 5 minute walk from work, when I bought it I used to ride it half an hour to the office, which was a saving of 25 thousand each way.

But to be sure, RH's effort (and my own and Piss' minor attempts to emulate it) did underline that accidents will happen, and now that I can afford it I'd rather take a cab to the movies.

Buying a new motor bebek is not a bad idea, but you might find you have trouble getting it on credit, unless you have an Indonesian buy it for you.

Take over payments from someone's bike. Tiger is the way to go. Lots of spare parts (mostly due to people that have been killed on the roads of Jakarte)
Plus:
+easy to sell
+200cc of pure Japanese Power
+Expats on step throughs look quite gay
+When a bajaj makes you a pancake, I can sell your tank to the "Indonesian Chopper" sinetron that's in the pipeline.

fag + mechanic = god, I miss the captain

By the way, you realise that if you get a bike, you'll die messily on the streets of Jakarta?

Fuck, I'll probably grease you myself with my V6 fatbody.

I'd like to see your orthography save you then.
