Does anyone know a police officer or two.. who will actually do their job without the incentive of making money? I mean honestly..
Example is.. Father steals kids, mother has custody. Father brainwashing kids into saying things they would normally never say. And Father is Mentally abusive.
Most cops wont do shit without getting paid extra.. I've met one great guy.. who was a cop in Indonesia. But quit because of the corruption.. so.. Anyone have an idea of what to do?
Thanks

The main police stations in all (well it's supposed to be all) districts now have a special officer (female) and room dedicated to issues of domestic violence, rape etc. Under the new law on domestic violence, "mental abuse" is included, so you'd have reason to take the case there, and quite possibly have a sympathetic hearing by a cop who's probably volunteered for the position because they give a shit, or at least wants to improve their cv. Worth a try, although there's always a risk taking anything to the cops, even as a complainant: "report the theft of a chicken, lose a goat", as they say of the Indonesian cops. It doesn't matter. But you probably shouldn't ever join him.

it's Wurzul, or something like that. ancient bbc tv series. I am sure the UK contingent can explain. BBC my arse. Just because you watched British stuff on the ABC doesn't mean it was made by the Beeb. Worzel Gummidge was made by Southern Television for ITV. The BBC wasn't interested in making it. Likewise, Minder was made by Euston Films for Thames for ITV. Furthermore, Scooby Doo was made by Hanna-Barbera, initially for CBS. Thanks.

Well, somebody's got to make JakChat relevant, readable and pertinent to the key issues facing Indonesia today. And provide insightful answers to the problems faced by expats/new arrivals in Indonesia. Rather than all the irrelevant tosh that some of the more senior posters seem intent on polluting this site with.

here here....can you please tell me who made biltong and potroast, the well loved South African comedy show of the early 80s?? Call it "hear, hear". Biltong and Pot Roast, which began in the 70s, was made by Reg Grundy Productions in association with SABC TV for the South African edition of Jackanory.

screwvenir anything that you keep (whether stolen or given to you) from someone's house after you've slept with them. Laura didn't really like doing it with Chip so much, but she did nab a copy of Time Magazine with Mick Jagger on it from his house as a screwvenir.
