Hi Everyone,
My connection to Indonesia is because my wife comes from there.
Anyway I am writing because of my hobby with twisting balloons which I am taking quite seriously. Well sort of. I am a computer programmer who wants to get out of the IT industry and have started to do so by twisting balloons in my local area here in Lowell, MA. The balloons are now a part of me just as my right arm is a part of my body.
I now have a family of 4 which will be traveling to Jakarta from mid September for about 1 month.
Ok, here's the real reason for this post. While we are in Jakarta I am offering my services as a balloon twister for your event, or party. If you are interested, please let me know.
I have several videos on youtube showing my balloon twisting and would love comments on those videos. Just type
emad the twister
in the search field and you will see them.
Thanks for taking the time to read through this post.
Truly, Emad-ud-deen Richard Leiman, Eva, Ismail & Mustafa

Emad...until you can do an auto-fellatio twisted balloon you are not welcome in this country...everyone knows that is the holy grail of balloon twisting and the stuff you advertise on youtube is easily done by any common balloon twister...be aware! Indonesia has its own growing balloon twister community. They are militant and protective of their own turf. So until you can learn some new tricks, STAY AWAY!!!!

frankly emad, i don't think you'll do much good in indonesia. people here just are not prepared to pay good money for something like that, especially if they can watch a topeng monyet show for free.
singapore might be a better bet ...

Thank you everyone for the replies.
I already have a gig set up in Jakarta.
I do realize that I am just a beginner balloon twister but I am getting gigs in my local area through networking. It started when I twisted the balloons at a local kids park where our children play. I also don't charge much money as well so that opens more opportunities in non-afluent neighbourhoods.
Also as you can see from the videos, I am sticking to only "G" rated twisting. So far the kids are happy and I am also learning to twist some really strange hats like a unicorn hat. It's the most requested sculpture aside from the wizard wand.

viperaberushitam,
We know what Vulgarian really meant, but we chose not to respond to that for many reasons.
About your comment on Americans: Maybe my only crime is that I was born in New York, but my lifestyle and views contradict those of other Americans. If I had the choice, I would not live here in the states.

KuKuKaChu,
I did get to live outside of the states for over 5 years. It was in the UK and I loved it there so much I did not want to leave when my work permit expired.
At least I have many nice memories of that place.
Dilli,
No I never thought of a work permit, and yes I think it would confuse them at the Manpower Department. I do know in the UK they have an Entertainer's work permit so you never know.
screwvenir anything that you keep (whether stolen or given to you) from someone's house after you've slept with them. Laura didn't really like doing it with Chip so much, but she did nab a copy of Time Magazine with Mick Jagger on it from his house as a screwvenir.
