So let me get this right. Astro Announce that they have the exclusive rights for the EPL for a period of two years. However after just one year the people who they use to broadcast Astro are refusing to broadcast the EPL. So this means that NOBODY in Indonesia will be able to watch any EPL this year!! Wouldn't you just love to get the inside story of what has gone on behind closed doors on this one. Clearly they don't give a shit about the consumers in this little power play.

So where to go from here? Does anybody know the price of getting that south african channel? Has anybody got any information about who will get the EPL at the end of this?

Indeed Chew, most distressing. All as clear as mud as usual. Maybe some deal will be brokered in the next couple of weeks. Was Indonesia's Olympic gold medal performance even televised here? Perhaps someone could answer this.

There is olympic coverage on CCTV - not sure if Indo gold medal got any coverage though. I heard that Aura (???) will be showing EPL but cant find anybody that has this option in their cable package. Not sure what to do ... probably best to wait a few weeks to see what happens
