Perhaps you should read Dennis Waterman's gripping autobiography ReMinder. Dennis and Richard O'Sullivan are old chums, having attended Corona Academy drama school when teenagers. Long before the Sweeney (actually only a year before the Sweeney) and Minder, O'Sullivan got Dennis a role in an episode of Man About The House, playing an arrogant German who spanks George Roper's bottom for mentioning the war.

As Dennis laments in ReMinder, O'Sullivan has these days become a bit of an alcoholic manic depressive. So any beans he spills should be taken with a grain of salt and a squirt of kecap manis.

I think he had a stroke and lives in a Nursing Home now!

And Yootha Joyce. One of the finest women who ever breathed.

A dignified nursing home for former actors. His stroke was apparently brought on by chronic alcoholism that had left him stony broke.

And if displaying Yootha Joyce on a Smiths album cover, it is also necessary to show the other famous alcoholic comic actor who appeared on a Smiths record cover.
