Indosat's similar service is faster than Telkomsel flash. Better coverage too.

Yes, I mean Indosat 3.5G. I tested both before I decided upon Indosat. I live in Balikpapan, and it works great here. Can even watch streaming TV.

The best thing about Indosat 3.5G is that if you rip up all the documentation and refuse to pay the bill, there is quite a strong likelihood you can talk your way out of the situation

I just figured out i'll be in Bekasi - Harapan Indah

I mean i just realized i'm out in the freaking boonies but whatever.. lol.

I work out that way but commute to Jakarta. Internet in Bekasi sucks the same as Internet in Jakarta so no problems!

It is interesting to notice that the internet speed at Changi airport, where I happen to be now, is slower than in Indonesian towns (using Indosat 3.5G).

Does anyone has a problem accessing websites recently? I can jump on JakChat with no problem, but I have to wait forever for other sites. JakChat is hosted in SG, right?

JakChat server is in singapore. there could be many reasons for other sites. even JakChat has its occasional moments of slowness.

I have tried all kind of different connection such as : speedy, wiphone, melsa, tekomsel flash, and tv cable connection. Conclusion : I like telkomsel flash (use your mob phone as modem) and tv cable connection. However do not imagine like in the US where you can download and play video right away (you tube?). Here you have to buffer and wait until it is completed (couple minutes) and then you can play in full.
