Hi all, I'm new here. I am a recruiter for companies in the banking and financial field for the Indonesian market. I have a current opening for a foreign bank (in the top 3 global banks in the world) looking for an ONSHORE private banker.

In essence you would promote the bank's onshore (meaning money stays in the country versus offshore) products to high net worth clients handling portfolio's of US$1M or higher.

My client has a small presence in Indonesia but looking to expand, thus looking for a private onshore banker.

Pay is extremely well (for Jakarta) with salary STARTING at Rp500 juta (will go higher depending on experience) plus performance bonuses.

I have picked up a few more clients in the past couple of weeks so any fields whether IT, audit, compliance, legal, HR or the typical banking positions (relationship managers, branch managers, corporate account managers) there are several openings for.

One blessing with Indonesia's central bank BI is the fact they limited foreign exposure in terms of investments, so many in the Indonesian finance industry have extremely little exposure to what's going on in the West with the financial crisis - with the exception of AIG-Life, none of my clients are slowing down on their hiring in Indonesia...Vietnam's picking up pace and China is outrageously still hot (at least for banking...not dairy)
