pour in rice krispies to suit your appetite
pour in milk (uht ultra reccommended) to suit
fetch spoon

You can only seem to be able to buy wee boxes of Rice Krispies here so they only last 2 or 3 days at the most and I love a big bowl of these in the morning. (before the bacon roll that is)

Breakfast this morning consisted of this..

Fry 2 chopped-up chicken breasts in oil till they're brownish.
Take them out of the pan.

Using the same pan, mix 150ml of chicken stock, the juice and zest of half a lemon, a tablespoon (or more if needed) of cornflour mixed with some cold water, and a splash of milk (about 100ml, but precision is unimportant).

Add seasoning to taste (a bit of ground pepper works well).
Bring it to the boil and then simmer it, stirring until it thickens. Not really thick like custard or anything, just thick like a nice thick sauce.

Then chuck the chicken back in and let it cook for about 10 minutes.

Serve with whatever the fuck you want to serve it with. I had it with fucking noodles....

Do you deep fry them and serve them with Irn-Bru?

Nope. But Irn-Bru goes well with these.

Well we may be consider a bit backwards in JATIM, but we have no trouble getting a damned good pie.

Unless you have tried a real and proper Scotch pipe you would consider any pie good. After a taste of one of these, all others pies are shite!!!
