well, now it seems that the planned karaoke bar and oh-la-la cafe has been cancelled. the owner could not get a building permit (IMB) to expand the premises. why? because it is planned to widen that section of jalan jaksa by 7 metres! this is supposedly to make way for a driveway into the new supermarket.

so, ya udah will remain a dead shell for another year or so ... the rest of jaksa will be widened by 3 metres; which, of course, means that most bars and businesses on that side of the road will cease to exist.

fortunately, okusi towers has an abundant halaman depan, so will not be too affected by the road widening.

the bars, resturants and hotels on this side of the street, however, will virtually all be wiped out.

Yes, you do indeed have a spacious forecourt. KL Village is gonna get shagged though. And the Memories Wailing Wall.

I'm quite enjoying Cocktail and Friends at the moment for the football though. Very jolly.

two of his employees called me last week, looking for work. they said they didn't like working at the new place.

I think he'll find the competition a little stiffer in KG. There's about 5000 restaurants there as I remember. Time to revive the Symphony of Prawns.
