i hope you can refer an international university where i can teach Psychology. I just moved in to Jakarta last November 2007 and I am interested to work again even part-time. I can only speak English that's why local schools and universities are out of the picture.

Medical, clinical or psych 101?

can't help but feel it would be very difficult to find a lecturing position in an Indonesian university. most Indonesian students cannot speak english sufficiently well to follow a native-english-speaking lecturer.

yeah, i know it is very difficult to teach Psychology in english to indonesian students that's why i am limiting my scope to international universities. i have MA in Psychological Services and PhD units in Clinical Psychology.

I would have thought that the vast majority of psych students would speak English, particularly at the more upmarket universities. And I would have thought that the text books were in Enlish also. But then again, I have no idea what I am talking about. You could find out by googling a few universities.

I might have leads for you if you dont want to teach. Where did you study, where have you worked, and what foreign licenses/certifications do you hold? I honestly have never heard of an MA in Psychological Services, so not sure what you specialize in.

I highly doubt getting hired for psych by any university here, even if you spoke Bahasa fluently. BUT there ARE expat therapists and psychologists seeing clients in a few organizations (w/ visas sponsored by those organizations of course). Most often they are dealing with mixed marriages or kids at international schools.
