More than 45.6 million Thais are eligible to vote in today's general election. Intended to restore democracy in the wake of last year's coup, the vote also has turned into a contest of whether to keep out or rehabilitate Thaksin Shinawatra, the premier ousted by the military.
Although some 43 political parties have registered to contest the election, the two main rivals are the People Power Party (PPP), whose main platform has been to bring Thaksin back to Thailand and give him a fair trial on numerous corruption charges, and the Democrat Party, the main opposition party during Thaksin's controversial premiership between 2001 and 2006 before he was toppled by a coup on September 19, 2006.
The PPP is headed by Samak Sundaravej, 72, a veteran Thai politician with a right-wing past who has dubbed himself a "nominee" for Thaksin, campaigning on the promise to continue the populist policies initiated by Thaksin's now defunct Thai Rak Thai Party and to guarantee a return for the former prime minister.
The Democrat Party is led by Abhisit Vejjajiva, 43, an Oxford- educated liberal politician who has campaigned on his clean record and the boast that he is the best candidate to lead Thailand out of its current political and economic slump.
The choices are seen as a choice between the same corrupt old leadership and a new leadership that claim can really change the economy.
Opinion polls have indicted most Thais prefer "the same old corrupt leadership
No real surprise .....

A sexually aroused Elephant caused some problems at the Pattaya Elephant Village on Thursday Morning. The Elephants Master, Khun Soopit aged 67 escaped injury after his 50 year old elephant which he has taken care of for two years, suddenly became violent and appeared in a sexually aroused state. This is not uncommon for Male Elephants and required intervention by a local Vet who shot the Elephant with two tranquilizing darts. Soon after he was controlled by a group of elephant handlers and was placed in leg chains and tied to a tree to give him some time to calm himself down. Small injuries were sustained to the elephant as he was brought under control with handlers using sharp sticks, however the Vet tells us that they were only superficial wounds. The local TV station were off course on hand to get all the pictures, a screen shot below shows that the Elelphant was most certainly "aroused".

I can assure you I have never indulged in these little blue chemical hardeners! that's quite impressive, for a man of your advanced years.

I have no need off such assistance. To be honest with you, I think I am more wary of the potential side affects rather than what the pill's offer. Shagging is great fun, but I don't think I would want to make a career out of it. But, if in the extraordinary event I have need for these pill's I know exactly where to go! I call this guy Doctor Hard.

Boat to school??? Don't tell me you were a scotland island child! If you are then you will know the best bar in sydney is that little bottle shop by the ferry warf that goes to the island.
How old are you? Maybe we had a drunken bunk up at the Mona Vale Hotel / Jet Club / Dee Why Hotel / Pitwater RSL

I cooked a full Christmas dinner while the Mrs was sleeping yesterday. Turned out to be fantastic and my Yorkshire puddings were the best I have ever managed!
Mr Piss who isn't a big eater got through three plate loads it tasted so good
