Goof13, about your post, I remember to my ex BF said, when we discuss about this country and this issues, he was laugh at me when I told him, that Moslem man can get lot of wives at the same time and the same place, well its kind like a joke for him, and how could be so maybe he should change his faith to be Moslem man and he can get lot of wives, then I said to him, just walk on my dead body first! Friedman, columnist from US, wrote an article in New York Times with the title “An Islamic Reformation”, he was thinking Islamic reformation is a must to Moslem society right now, because battle or against to terrorism or radicalism will means nothing without follow by social rehabilitation of Moslem society itself, for him “US could kill Osama Bin Laden and his bands but the other will come and replaced his place, the only way to fight or against this, is weed out the violation and it should be from Moslem people itself. And it will possibly happen if they’re (Moslem peoples) who fight their own reformation and democracy of their religion”.

The real enemy right now is interpretation authorities of religious lessons, Authorities religion institutions, which feel the “truth” ones, is enemy in a freedom of religious life, in the end, it will be back to Moslem people itself,, do they want to keep their narrow minded which end to terrorism and religion violations or they want to carry on to new Islam or Islamic reformation.

What do you local indonesians think about arab putih people?If you are an arab putih do you feel like people are discriminating against you?
I ask because my husband seems to look a little bit down on them, and he says they are the cause of many problems.He seems to think they are a mix of kampungan and corrupt???
I asked him if this was because he was many times discriminated in his life for being chinese there, but he says its not its more that the arab putih mau bikin masalah.He says that all should be " indonesian". Mind you he doesnt live there much anymore!!!
