I know that you love Indonesian girls. you think we are the most beautiful stunning of all Asian girls, and you really like Indonesia that's why you spend so much time there. Here's a set of rules you have drafted from your personal experiences and other bule friends.

1) Learn the language and find a girl that cannot speak English.
The likelihood of being completely hoodwinked goes down as you become more
familiar with the people and culture. If she speaks excellent English and
has not studied it in Uni or is not currently studying it in school you'll
end up being the tenth bule who feels sorry for her and sends her 1m rp
month.

2)Drop a girl immediately if she doesn't want you to learn the language.
Girls who want to be deceitful don't want you to learn the language. The
more ignorant the bule is about the culture/society the easier it is for
him to be taken to the bank. Any decent, honest girl who wants to marry
you would want you to be as proficient in the language as you could
possibly be. You not knowing the language makes it easier for them to
inflate prices. (ie. it costs a half million to get my hair done.)

3)For the first few months you are dating don't offer to pay for anything other
than food/entertainment etc. Cheap gifts/flowers are okay. This doesn't
mean you can't go out and spend $60 on a night out. Keep support at a
minimum. Supporting them immediately will only foster deceit. If you want
to pay for *** pay for ***! It's much easier and cheaper to pay for a
hooker.

4)If she doesn't want you to learn the language because she intends to deceive
you she will tell you things like: Bule who can speak English just argue
over 1,000 rp with people!

5)If you are not in a committed relationship DO NOT SEND MONEY FROM OVERSEAS. This is simple. How easy is it for a tourist **** to make a bule fall in
love with her......50 bucks a month is more than she will make working. It
can be a good arrangment though. Send 50 bucks month come back for a month or two on holiday and have a "girlfriend" for some entertainment.

6)Don't forget unless you are very wealthy that your money goes far in Indonesia
and for most you cannot live the same lifestyle in Indonesia. So from the
get go make sure that she understands it's a charmed life as far as money
is concerned with Bule in indonesia. It is often much much more different
in the other country.

7)If you really want to get married i think it is crucial she go visit for a
couple months before making a lifelong commitment. You also are making a
commitment to returning to Indonesia ever so often so she can visit
family. Most women do not want to visit Indonesia for three weeks once
every four years. So make sure you will be able to have the $3-5k
for a visit every year or two. Europe/America is cold as hell in the
winter. They don't think about things like insurance. Spending $150 to
heat a house in the winter. Often the girls would like to go back and
spend 6 months or a year in their home country. Nice for you also if you
love Indonesia! Flexibility.

8) also get a tourist visa or and get a 3 month fiance visa. Explain to her that
you want her to have a look and see the lifestyle you'll be living. Make
sure she gets a good look at all the good looking bule in
Europe/Australia. You might not be as exotic and rich as you were when you
were visiting Indonesia!!

9)Find a girl that has a job and has continuously had a job. Unless of course
you don't care if she works in your country or not. Your monthly support
will only generate laziness.

10)Don't give her any idea at all for the first few months how much money you
make. Knowing your job is fine. Is it really relevant for them to know?

11)Know that you are not liked. You are a business for most people trying to
befriend you. That that three dollar beer you just bought a friend is
more than the days wage. I would like someone too if they bought me a
$200 beer!!

12)If you have a girl you are serious about don't over-rent. That five bedroom
house in Sumatra for 20 million a year will cover 2-3 months rent of a
small flat in California/New York/London. And you won't be able to afford
a made or cook in the West so don't get her accustomed to that!

Just to let everyone know..... I don't think all indonesia people are bad and always trying to take advantage of the Bule. It is a product of the difference in currencies. It is mostly economics. Americans/Europeans/Australians likely would act the same way if there were such a gap in currencies. Don't take it personally. Many Indonesians are brilliant. There's a lovely culture/food/scenery and people in Indonesia....unlike anywhere else.

What about all the bule girls married to indo guys? Are you saying that indonesian men and women are just into money? Actually my husband would be 100 times richer than I would ever have been here in Australia.

I have seen the result of this western superiority complex back here in oz, the poor girl from some blok m bar who marries the fat loser who has 3rd or 4th divorce because NO western woman would ever put up with him for longer than ayear or two I say sucked in-if you are looking to treat your wife as the product of an economic disparity between markets you deserve to be sucked in, used and spat out. Whats the difference-you will only go back to Asia nd find another wife in exactly the same way.
Otherwise you would meet a spouse from a similar background-like through work etc, not be actively looking for someone "less fortunate" that your self.
I know of some really good aussie guys married to indo girls of very long standiing marriages-and I also know many who are total loser bastards who have used their status/money to basically get someone who they percieve is going to be subserviant to them. THats the ones that make my blood boil.No need to give advice to those guys, although your intention was probably in the right place.

she met him not in INDO, and i know he is so nice and treat my sister very nice and also respect my sis and our family..he even let my sis has own career at St. Kilda, Melb as bahasa indonesia teacher..and go to a muslim monthly meeting to learn Al Qur'an..

so nice or not it depend on the person, not the colour of skin

St KIlda is a really really cool suburb in Melbourne. I love it so much! It has the best clothes, a great part of Acland Str is old jewish family bakeries so you can get THE best european cakes and coffee. I would love to live there!
And the reality for most middle class families in Australia is that both partners need to work to pay the mortgage on the house, or school fees etc.So its great that your sister can find a job she likes, and also a Quran group.She will be living in style in St Kilda-really really nice area-totally trendy and multicultural.

You must visit the beach named Bilgola Beach and Whale Beach-they are before Palm Beach, less crowded than turis-turis Palm Beach.( in Sydney )
