maybe it's the belief that each of us has a soulmate that keeps us alive ... perhaps we would lose hope and commit suicide if we did not belive that there was someone, somewhere out there specially for us ...

it's a little like the belief in god/s ... that human creation that makes Man think he's something really special and 'chosen' among the species ...

excatly, what the meaning of soulmate??? however, I dont believe with a called "soulmate" we never find soulmate, no body could be soulmate...
even she/he's your partner in life...

it's just bulshit, if someone says "I'm your soulmate"

as far as I knew..no body can to believe!....

soulmate is just a name, but for the reall...how can we get soulmte in this moment...???

hi All..
hope all of u have a nice week end, so everyone wont get lose his/ her temper..
Dear Inggrit, i just try to be polite to steve.. and even i will do the same thing to u..
well, since i always believe in good faith --but keep stay alert--..no one is 100 % evil, and 100 % angel..

Lina, that's why i write this, cause i want to know others' opinion about soulmate, emphasizing NOW we live at instant life style, people only see outside appearance..hedonic etc etc..
is there somone out there who still believe on message from romance comedy movie, just name : how to lose a guy in ten days, while u were sleeping? or current movie " Bewitched"
again, have a nice day gals and guys :-)

I think people look to much at outside appearances looks, age instead of really trying to know the real person. At the end the only thing that will last is what's in the heart of the person.

D_Q, I really think you may be searching for shadows. Sure, there's heaps of "couples" around who are very compatible and really like each other and like each other's company, but the concept of soulmates is a "holy grail"; similar, I would speculate, with the "in love" sickness that has been propogated in Western societies for the past 150 years.

KKKC, dont be so disbelieving. From some one who met his soulmate I can confirm that they exist. Unfortunately, life is not fair and fairytale endings dont always happen. Does lightening strike the same place twice?? I doubt it but I live in hope.

Ciao

Hi morning all ^_^

Hi Kita Satu, nice to chat & share more with u
Hi Kuku, Steve..long time no see at this forum hehehe..
Hm, I am about to close this discussion, since there is no comment for a couple days :-)
well.. we live in hope when strugling in the tough life..

well, actually i am the one in this planet who still believe in SM.. but in last several months.. i lil bit doubt it..maybe it just my problem --afraid to make decision about who is the one who deserve to get my 100 % love-- yes as i ever said, i try to compromise..
I guess God create one -- the right one-- for us, and we should search our SM.. But i dont waste my time i guess my 10 years finding the right guy should end up next year :-) i have to make dead line to my self..after learning some kinds of men..
i live in earth, so i should be not too idealist, try to more grounded and compromise..

cheers.

5 years ago i would agree. But I met a girl and it was like in the movies. I was head over heels. She was`Chinese, lived in Jakarta for 7 years (as concubine to some 70 year old pervert but we will pass over that). I asked her to marry me that same night.

We moved in together, but she had her problems. firstly she was galloping half the men in Sydney. And flying back to JKT for a quickie with the OAP to top up her bank account.

They I realised she was mentally unstable. Bipolar Schizophrenic. I found this out when she tried to kill me. She was a compulsive liar. One day she was 28, the next 42. one day from singapore, the next Beijing.

(I strongly suspect now that she was a Blok M Ayam all along, and all the tales of China were CRAP)

Eventually I had her deported (she had no visa). sooner or later she was going to kill me. I haver no idea where she is nowe. But i still miss her, and think of her every day. Wherever you are Lily Li - I miss you honey.

you seem to be proving my point. you "fell in love" with an illusion. And that's all people ever "fall in love" with: illusions.

Does anybody really seek to destroy the thing that they love?? I guess love means different things to different people. Maybe what you really mean rosco is that she was a good fuck and you miss her ass like hell. Try your hand. Next week you can amputate if it fails to perform. No wonder women think all men are Bast***s!!@@!

Not quite. why did i love Lily?

Well, if we pass over the silicon implants and cosmetic surgery (the OAP was dead wealthy and built himself the perfect woman) I was left with a fragile, sick, scared little girl who never really had anyone love her.

When I held her in my arms time stood still, and we were the only people in that crowded bar. And when I took her to hospital for an operation and she cried cos she was scared, I felt her fear in my bones.

we were soul mates pure and simple. She was a bad girl - I had no doubt. but i was pretty bad myself. We were just two people struggling to survive in the world. I hope sher made it OK.

Indeed Steve she was good in bed. It was her chosen career i guess, so she was`expected to be. She used sex like I would use a credit card.

But she really did try to kill me several times. she was going to end up in Jail and I was heading for a mortuary. We were too intense.

I had to lose Lily to save her. Yes I was a Bast###d. But I loved her so much I let her go.

All men are bastards and jerks; this is an absolute truism. And it just doesn't apply to "expat" males (a word that in Indonesia seems to mean white foreign residents). Males are meant to be bastards; if they were not, they would not be males. It's an XY trait ....

OK, not only men who bast**d, but sometime women bast**d too, depend on the person, we can not generalize it..

But, most of foreigners who get in touch in gold-digger-indo sl*ts will think INDO Women is cheap.. and they not reapect Indo women..

My sister told me that she have ever helped Indo girl who said that she fal in love with his France BF. This young engineer French guy is so naive, he thought that his GF who he met at cafe is nice girl..and genuine he has big appratment in Jakarta --cause the company paid for that--
in sort, my sister give lodging to that damned girl in her house.. this naive french guy paid the ticket to french.. that materialistic --but dont want to use her brain to work normally-- girl then stay at her bf studio (appartment with ONLY 1 small room) and know that he is not look rich compare with his life style while assigned in Jakarta, then she left her BF, cancel their marriage, cause realized her BF not rich as she expected..she even used her BF's phone to call her Italian guy !!
Damned !!

I hope every foreigner males be alert..
Rosco : ur Lili is SICK, maybe i have meet u,interview u.. and make my first-kind of sidney sheldon- Book..:-)

Like 90% of Indo girls are money hungry Ayams and liars. Maybe if fewer girls viewed Blues as walking wallets or ATM machines fewer Bules would be B###ds and JERKS.

I average about 10 requests for "you buy me drink meesta", about the same number of requests for "taksi money meeesta", maybe 3-4 offers of "we go your home meesta" - an invitation which always seems to have commercial connotations.

Then when you DO strike up a relationsship the feeding frenzy really starts. The girl loses her (last years model) phone, and wants you to buy her a new one. The family buffalo falls sick. Brothers need school fees. Father is ill. They lose their job (if it ever existed). Suddenly your supporting half of the local economy. And if you stop funding all of this crap you suddenly become a B###rd and a JERK.

Short for reality-distortion field. An expression used to describe the persuasive ability of managers like Steve Jobs (the term originated at Apple in the 1980s to describe his peculiar charisma). Those close to these managers become passionately committed to possibly insane projects, without regard to the practicality of their implementation or competitive forces in the marketpace.
Steve Jobs is extremely demanding of all those around him and has a very low tolerance for anything but excellence. Because he can be shockingly blunt in his dealings with others, he is often portrayed as abusive, but this is dead wrong. He simply demands/expects great things from everyone around him. I honestly believe he can't understand why anyone would want to waste their time doing anything less than great.
