I just got a "buy 1 get 1 free" offer for Izzy's via handphone from Telkomsel. What's the JakChat wisdom about how Izzy's compares to, say, Pizza Hut's offerings?

Well it's buy one get one free - eat the free one first, if you don't like it, get your money back on the one you paid for.
That someone would actually be so benign as to need a review of a fucking pizza is beyond belief - Have you tried Semtex Eddy's Jakarta Resto Review? "and Mz marmz had the usual, the waiter was overbearing and hovered around the table, but didn't lift my plate in the 35 milliseconds after I placed my knife and fork in his eye sockets"

flingwing, despite MP's comments, i feel this is a very important question that strikes at the heart of all that is good and proper.
Izzi pizza's are quite good, but pricey, and the "special offers" more often that not have weasly catches.
pizza hut? good grief.

When you say a "bit pricey", do you mean in the 100K+ priceband or are we talking about 5K more expensive than pizza hut? Pizza's from Izzy and holidays in a Jap POW camp. Yes, I can just imagine this exotic 10 day tour - hotel fucking Tenko and valued added pizza 3 time a day.

Izzi is ok but made quite cheap but tasty enough. For a decent Pizza go for Dominoes, it is damn good compared to the usual fare around and for Izzi, stick to the great tasty non rubbery Calamari.......

The Izzi Penne Ratatouille is top. Worst pizzas by far are Pappa Ron's. Bule owner (Mr. Ron to be sure) and branches all over town but pizzas like deep fried bathmats with the contents of a dustbin emptied on top. Honestly...it's enough to make you order the chicken.

Remember when Domino's first came to town? The special delivery deal was something like: "If our pizza takes longer than 30 minutes to reach you, it's free!". I knew from the beginning that wouldn't fly, but we ended up with two free pizzas from "Big D's". And those two pizzas were the least enjoyable ones in my life .

Yes, I expect those responsible for the preparation and delivery of the pizzas probably already knew you and as such added a few "special" ingredients <phlegm & knob scrapings>.

There's a new Dominos down the road. Appalling . Like a fried bath mat without the contents of a dustbin on top . I'll be having the chicken next time for sure . Not in pizza form though . No .

I get a super pizza in Malibu's, Jalan Kawi, they use deep fried bathmats with the contents of a dustbin on top.

That may be true, however obviously Pak Fingwing at least has the stones to actually be SEEN by another live human being, even if only the pizza delivery boy -- as opposed, of course, to your hiding under your bed somewhere out in the Java sticks, shaking in your boots that someone may, just may, know you from JC and rightly beat you without mercy into a fine pink-colored mist. Given that fact, flingwing could certainly be doing worse, ay?

Izzi is ok but made quite cheap but tasty enough. For a decent Pizza go for Dominoes, it is damn good compared to the usual fare around and for Izzi, stick to the great tasty non rubbery Calamari....... Phosphorous in Fast Food and When to Avoid It Recent research has revealed that some fast food products contains high levels of phosphorous additives, which can be dangerous for some people to consume. Find out more about the research, why phosphorous can be harmful and when to avoid it. What is Phosphorous? Phosphorous is a mineral that occurs naturally in some foods, but it’s now frequently included as an additive in an even wider range of food products. It’s added to foods as a form of flavour enhancer and to help extend the shelf life of products and can be found in items such as meat, baked foods, cheese, fast food, processed food and even drinks. Why is Phosphorous Harmful? Healthy kidneys are able to properly clean out and remove excess phosphorous from the body, but phosphorous is particularly harmful for anyone suffering from kidney disease, as the kidneys are unable to properly get rid of it. When the kidneys are experiencing problems and starting to fail, the levels of phosphorous in the body increases, which can cause addition health problems such as damage to the heart and thinning in the bones. Kidney patients are already advised to avoid foods that are naturally high in phosphorous, such as some nuts, wholegrains, meat and cheese. However, now that phosphorous salt is used as an additive in even more foods, it’s more difficult to avoid it completely – especially as it’s often hard to know whether or not it’s been added to products. This has been a public service announcement.

Ah, Sammy got all sore, and as for being in the least bit fearful of you dear chap, think again - I assume that is what you are implying. Anyone, including you and your mouth who feels like giving it a crack, form an orderly line.
Really quite pathetic Jankis - firstly the assumption that because you are suck a kingping in Jakarta life that I should want to actually associate with you, and also in the assumption that I or indeed anyone else should be frightened of you.
I can see just how well you will get on with your new mate - brother flingwing.

suck a kingping? You lost me on that one. Typo Semtex, but in this case, really quite fitting don't you think? Sammy, try and grow up a bit - it's not really big or clever. and completely at odds with the gum chewing, bullet spewing, whirwind of death persona that you have created. Still, gets the jolly old post count up doesn't it?

Just grow a pair or at least pretend to be something other than the frightened little boy we all suspect you to be, hiding behind his monitor. Hell, even RICCARDO had the balls to meet me in public for a gentlemanly debate. What does that say about you, pickles? Anytime you'd like to pop around in person and show me what you've accomplished in this arena, I'd be most happy to oblige! Again, that'll never happen without a woman's skirt to hide behind, I reckon. Love ya! Sam

Vatican Roulette Another name for the rhythm method of birth control.
Called so because it is the only form of contraception endorsed by the Catholic Church.
Well, the Pope says condoms are out, and the pill is born of the fires of Hell. So get out the calendar, baby, it's time for Vatican roulette.
